On becoming lost

Something that is vital to my existence, and it’s often very misunderstood, is being lost. The only way I can explain this concept and reality is being totally free from expectation, routine and familiarity. Wherever this may occur.
Most of my time these days is spent alone, in the scrub, observing the wildlife and nature. Experiencing the gentle shift in the winds direction, a temperature drop as the clouds smother the sun or being woken by a travelling family of emus on their way to water.

Removing distraction is crucial to creating without dilution and this is something this lifestyle provides me. Even among the misunderstanding and judgement this feels like my path for the foreseeable future.
